On the edge of the Cotswolds, Cricklade & Spa was originally built around 1920 as a private house for Majot Methuen and extended with all the building materials from Hammond's garage. After changing hands over the years, The Bice family made the changes to convert to a hotel and country club in 1969 with seven bedrooms, and the local community encouraged to come and use the pool for a fee.
Today Cricklade & Spa is owned by the Purico Group, one of the biggest family enterprises in the U.K, employing over 3,000 people in the Hotels & Leisure, automative, care, construction, investment, paper and property sectors globally.
We now have 45 bedrooms all of which are en-suite, with colour television, hair dryers, trouser press, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities. Our Wi-Fi is free of charge along with our ample car parking facility. Just as , if not more important, our people will provide the warmest of welcomes to you and ensure your stay is a memorable one.
