Terms & Conditions
Booking Guarantee
All accommodation bookings require a credit or debit card to be taken to guarantee the booking. These details are held to guarantee the booking only and full payment of your account is required on the morning of departure as part of the Check-out Process. We ask £25 per room.
Pre-authorization
All guests are required to provide a credit/debit card pre-authorization of £25 per room upon check-in. This will put a temporary hold on funds, meaning the cardholder cannot use this money elsewhere. Please note that the hotel does not receive this money; it is held by the card issuing bank. On the morning of departure, the pre-authorisation will be reversed upon completion of check out and the held funds will be released back to the cardholder. This is usually immediate but can take longer with some debit cards and is usually returned within 3-5 working days.
Cashless Policy
We are a cashless operation with the exception of private events in our ballroom, and all charges will be placed on your room account for settlement on departure or, paid for by card at the point of sale. We accept payments made by AMEX, Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other recognised Contactless Merchants.

A £500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure our weddings facilities for your important day, with full balance up to 14 days before your wedding day. Our terms and conditions for bedrooms apply to guests staying. We request that all details are finalised 14 days before your wedding day, inclusive of menu choices.
Minimum contracted numbers for guests are,

Loss of or Damage to Guests' Property
Under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956, a hotel proprietor may in certain circumstances be liable to make good any loss of or damage to a guest's property even though it was not due to any fault of the proprietor or staff of the hotel.

We stayed at Cricklade House Hotel and Spa for one night. We had a lovely stay, room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the Ravioli and Stone Baked Pizza in the restaurant and it was very delicious! Great wines, beers and cocktail selection. Staff was very attentive during the stay and very professional.
Great country house, nice spacious lounges and superb spa facilities. Definitely recommend!

We recently had our daughter’s wedding blessing in England for relatives and friends who could not attend the service in the United States last year.

I've loved this hotel since my first stay in 2015. This is a gentle cotswolds country hotel. It is a beautiful old building in a peaceful location with a swimming pool and staff who will give you a warm welcome.

This country hotel in lush green countryside is a tranquil hideaway and perfect retreat to relax and unwind from today's fast paced living. The staff were warm, friendly and professional. Utilised the Spa facilities and had some lovely soothing massages and treatments. The food was exceptional, tantalising and tasty fine-dining with simplistic but flavoursome combinations to tickle the taste-buds.. Birthday celebrated with my friend and we were not disappointed. Would highly recommend.
